During this time they were very real and upfront without "trying to close me" In fact, I had a very hard decision to make that created a cross road and Kevin was willing to, not only take the time meet with me night after night, he was also willing to share his opinions on why other deals may be beneficial for me personal and what their offer meant and how I needed to prepare for it. He shared what I needed to think about if we agreed to go with the ScOp approach and really laid it out without adding all the fluff! I found it very upfront, balanced and truthful.

Additionally, they did not push the "Exit" talk as all other investors did. Rather they clearly stated he did not want to have that talk and said we should be focused on the growth and build talk before we talk exit. For me this was key!
